The Meeting
In "The Meeting," Oliver, a hardworking man dealing with a demanding boss and personal frustrations, faces professional setbacks. During a disastrous virtual meeting, he unexpectedly lands a Vice President position, promising the change and fulfillment he's been seeking.

Filming and editing The Meeting was hands down my favorite experience of second semester. The chaos of finding actors, locations, and crew with such a tiny budget in under two months was both exhilarating and a little stressful, but honestly, I loved every moment of it. One of the biggest challenges was adapting the script to match the location options I had, which led to a lot of revisions, but it was a fun process molding the script to fit the actors and settings I chose.

During production, we stayed on schedule, and we even had time to do a few extra takes. The editing, though, was by far the most challenging part. Because of my limited budget, the audio quality wasn’t ideal, and it made post-production tougher than I anticipated. It was hard getting the project to where I wanted it to be with the short turnaround and the audio issues, but it was a huge learning experience.

For next time, I’d love to have a bigger budget, bring someone on board to handle the audio, and definitely get some extra help with the editing.
