Program and Self Reflection:

In these three short semesters, I’ve grown and changed more than I ever thought possible. At the start, I was nervous—it had been four years since I’d been in college, and I wasn’t sure how I would fit back into an academic setting. But this program reminded me of who I am and how much I love working in the film industry and creating stories.

Through the process of writing, pitching, and developing stories, I discovered not only what I’m capable of but also who I want to become. I want to be a creative producer—someone who nurtures ideas from inception to completion, collaborates with writers, directors, and talent to bring stories to life, and ensures that every aspect of a project aligns with its artistic and emotional vision. A creative producer isn’t just about logistics or funding; it’s about shaping narratives that resonate, inspire, and make an impact. That’s what excites me the most—using my creativity and passion to produce meaningful stories that leave a lasting impression.

This program helped me find my voice as a storyteller and gave me the confidence to pursue this path. I’ve gained new skills, learned to step out of my comfort zone, and embraced challenges with a renewed sense of purpose. I’m incredibly grateful for this experience because it has shaped me into the person I’ve always wanted to be—someone who creates with intention and leads with vision. Now, I’m ready to take everything I’ve learned and start making stories that truly matter.
